The CircuiTree Solutions Child Protection Plan is a safety system that addresses six key areas of camp operations as it relates to the detection, prevention, or crisis response regarding child sexual abuse. These areas include operational support, facilities/grounds, staffing, training/orientation, monitor/reporting, & crisis response.  This safety system was developed in response to national attention to child abuse and neglect in camping and ministry, as well as the experience of Kanakuk Kamps.  

The CTS system does not replace or duplicate Praesidium, MinistrySafe or other similar training content.  CTS consists of a 75 page "Policy" manual with corresponding procedures, protocols and sample forms built by camps for camps.  Each policy and procedure was designed to specifically target and combat grooming and abuse habits derived from both research as well as first-hand experience. While lengthy in scope, each initiative is carefully crafted with regard to duties of care, achievable results, and strategies for implementation. This system also includes a self-audit which, once completed, will not only report the proficiency level of your organization, but also reveal targeted weaknesses.
